Philosophy
I believe design, down to the smallest element should be a carefully considered decision with intention and purpose behind it that ultimately will support the goal of the end product, because in the end it is the designer who is the defender of aesthetics. As such the designer should have a firm understanding of the history and theory of aethetics so that every decision can be supported by the dialogues and solutions that design and image makers have passed to our generation. With a rich archive of design solutions behind us and an infinite future it is possible for the designer to pull from the past so that they may innovate and expand to appeal to and communicate with their current audience and ultimately engage in a dialogue with future designers. These thing allow a designer to communicate effectively, effective communication is powerful… Design is power.
